Shaquira Parris
Hi, I’m a mom of six who discovered a love for photography right at home. For years, my children were my practice, my inspiration, and my favorite subjects. I’ve spent countless moments chasing laughter, capturing milestones, and preserving those quiet, in-between moments that often mean the most. Through them, I developed a style centered on genuine connection, natural expressions, and the beauty of everyday life.
What began as a way to hold onto memories of my own family has grown into something I’m excited to share with others. As I began photographing friends and their families, I quickly realized how much I enjoy working with children and capturing the unique energy every family brings.
My experience has been shaped by dedication, compassion, and a willingness to grow. As a mom, I’ve developed strong multitasking, problem-solving, and caregiving skills that influence the way I connect with families. My time working as a CNA strengthened my ability to provide hands-on care, communicate clearly, and support others with patience and empathy—qualities that naturally carry into my photography.
I believe the best photos aren’t forced—they come from real smiles, movement, and connection. Rather than relying on stiff poses, I focus on creating a relaxed and comfortable environment where your family can simply be yourselves. My goal is to capture authentic, timeless images that reflect who you truly are—the laughter, the chaos, and everything in between.
As I continue to grow in photography, I remain committed to learning, improving, and telling meaningful stories through my work. Whether you’re looking to preserve special milestones or the beauty of everyday moments, I look forward to working with you.
